Description: A world champion in its first outing, the Comp32 Soft features extra large volume and a special tread design derived from Michelin’s motocross tires with asymmetrical center blocks and a unique side-knob configuration that increases off-camber hold. The soft compound helps increase adhesion in extreme conditions, while the heavy duty casing and specially designed bead wires help ensure that the Comp32 Soft will still be working for you all the way down the mountain.

Description:  The Comp24 holds tight in corners and offers incredible control when things get sketchy. Multi-shaped knobs extend across the heavy duty casing’s entire width to help improve grip and stability at all angles. Then the special soft rubber compound takes that grip to a whole new level. The casing, as you might’ve guessed, is reinforced and includes specially designed DH bead wires for a super secure hold on the rim.

Description:  Part of the complete Michelin DH arsenal that helped Greg Minnaar win the 2001 World Cup, the DH Comp16 has special scoop-shaped knobs, precisely spaced for maximum grip and stability. Its heavy duty reinforced casing resists cuts, while the special soft rubber compound grips even in extreme conditions. Placing a Comp 16 on the front and a Comp 24.1 can be a good handling combination.

Description:  Developed during 2001 World Cup competition, the new Mud3 downhill tire is optimized for extreme mud and slippery conditions. compared to the Mud2 tire it replaces, it features a more open tread pattern to shed mud more easily; while its taller, more precisely shaped reinforced blocks and soft rubber compound enhance control and grip – especially on courses with slippery roots, rocks or thick grass.

In 2001 World Cup testing, the Mud3 tire was ridden to victory in all three of the courses contested on muddy terrain, helping Greg Minnaar become 2001 World Cup downhill champion.
